OPEYMI ADEDARA

After I lost my precious mother in 2017 to advanced stage IV breast cancer, I could not continue with my university education. My retired father had spent all his savings, pension and money from sold properties on my mum's health who eventually passed. When I thought all hope was lost, IA-Foundation came to my rescue. People donated, Alumni of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) In the UK through IA-Foundation intervened and cleared all my bills, including feeding and accommodation from year 3 to graduation.

COMPLETED NYSC (2023)

Today, I am a proud graduate of Food and Science Technology; and I have also completed my National Youth Service. I am also happy to be one of the ambassadors of the Foundation. I want to thank the Founder of the Foundation, Mrs Ibironke Adeagbo, the Board of Trustees, the kind-hearted donors of the Foundation and the selfless volunteers for all their support in taking out-of-school children back to the classroom. May almighty God in His infinite mercy reward every one of you.

FARIDAH YUNUS

Faridah Yunus is a basic five (5) pupil at Courage Foundation School in Badagry, Lagos. She was out of school for over two without any form of formal or informal education. This really affected her ability to write, read, or communicate properly in the English Language. In fact, she failed the entrance exam into basic 6 which was why the School authority advised that she should be moved to basic 5 to learn some concepts afresh. Through the intervention of IA-Foundation, we are happy about the huge progress and transformation in Faridah’s live. She can now read and write well, and her spoken English has really improved. She scored 60% and above in 8 subjects including French, Comprehension, English Structure, Mathematics, Handwriting, Creative and Cultural Art, Security Studies, and Religious Studies. ISAIAH OLAJIDE

One of the bursary beneficiaries of IA-Foundation, Isaiah Olajide has topped his class in the first term of 2022/2023 academic session. Ismail had never been to school before. According to his mother, since his father died five years ago, he and his other siblings were enrolled in daily lessons as she could not afford to send them to a mainstream school. Through IA-Foundation, Ismail was enrolled in Cortina School, Ikorodu and has continued to improve in his academic abilities. According to the school head, Mrs. Modupe Macaulay, “this was amazing. This seed of greatness would have died inside of him if he had not been given this opportunity. Long Live, IA-Foundation.”
